When people go on holiday they normally want to relax. I have to say that for me, the opposite is true. When I go away I want to have as much fun as possible! Sure, it’s ok to go away to a hot place every now and again and just lie in the sun relaxing, but after a couple of years this can become pretty boring!

This year I am doing something totally different – I am heading out to Moscow!

There is so much to do here, it is amazing. One of the first things I plan to do is fly MiG-29 Fulcrum! Amazingly I can be up there in the cockpit with the pilot as he takes me about the sky performing stunts at breakneck speeds! You don’t get much more excitement than that!

Luckily for me I found some great adventure travel companies who can organise a full week for you and you can include pretty much anything in your itinery. I decided to go with one of these companies because they are so flexible. I just told them that I wanted a week of action packed fun and they told me they could deliver!

You don’t have top be on the go all the time though. I did mention that I would like to visit the kremlin palaces and they told me it would be no problem. They would simply work whatever I wanted to do into the plan for the whole week, and they told me that I wouldn’t have to miss anything out. I even left a couple of the days entirely up to the planners, because after all, they know the city better than I do!

I think it could be a tiring week, but I know it is going to be a great week!

I had been seeing my girlfriend for just over a year when I decided to pop the question. I’d been thinking about it for quite a long time to be honest with you, and I think I’d known it all along. It’s a great feeling to bei n love, and when you really have that feeling, you want to do something really special for that certain someone.

We hadn’t been away abroad together anywhere, but I knew that my girlfriend had spent many happy holidays with her parents at Alicante as a child. I decided I would do my best to recreate those holidays with the plan to propose to her on the last night of the holiday.

I told her as nonchalantly as I could that I thought we could just about afford a holiday abroad together, and I’d seen some Alicante flights online that looked pretty reasonable. Of course she was thrilled and she jumped at the chance, but she of course didn’t know my plan!

Because I wanted everything to be just right, I had to tell my girlfriends parents my plan. Thankfully they were delighted, and theyy were more than happy to dig out old holiday photographs which showed pictures of the hotel they always stayed in. I managed to track the hotel down and book a room there for a week and told my girlfriend I had found a decent apartment to stay in.

When the plane had landed and all of the luggage was in the taxi, she heard me say to the driver which hotel we were staying in, and from that moment onwards, I honestly think she guessed what I was up to! I don’t think this was a bad thing though and it set the tone for the most perfect, romantic week imaginable, in the perfect environment. Alicante was full of charming restaurants, beautiful beaches and lovely walks that make it perfect for a couple in love.

I still don’t know for sure whether she knew I was planning to ask her to marry me, all that matters is that she said yes!

If you have a pre-existing condition and you want to travel it can sometimes be problematic in getting travel insurance. Insurers do not like to take calculated risks so they need to know if there is a likelihood that your condition could result in you needing medical assistance whilst you are abroad.

One such condition which is becoming increasingly common is diabetes. This can be a mild form which can be managed by diet or it could be insulin dependant diabetes where you are required to take regular injections. In either case you will need to make sure your travel insurer is aware of your condition. If you fail to notify the insurer of a diagnosed condition your insurance policy will not be valid and will not cover you if you need to make a claim.

Very often when you book a holiday with a travel agent they will often offer you a travel insurance policy. Be aware that these are often very basic policies and will be unlikely to cover all but the very standard traveller. If you have a medical condition, are going on a more exotic holiday or are an older traveller then you will more than likely need a more substantial insurance policy.

There are insurers that can provide diabetics with travel insurance for diabetics. A specialist insurer is much more likely to get you a better deal on your holiday cover and provide you with a policy that will cover you for any medical eventualities.

Every year thousands of people fly from UK airports to destinations all around the world. Some travellers may not realise that they need to make their insurer aware of any medical conditions. One of the reasons that you need to be honest is that if you do fall ill and need repatriating then the doctor who will fly over to bring you back will need to know what if any medical equipment they may need to bring.

Getting a policy does not have to be prohibitively expensive or stop you from travelling and enjoying a holiday. Insurers do have to cover themselves and therefore price policies according to the likelihood of a claim being made and the cost of such resulting claims.

Your insurer will want to know that you are as prepared as you can be for your condition. Being specialist insurers they can also advise you of things that you can do or may need to know about as a diabetic travelling abroad and provide invaluable advice.

Are you over 70 thinking about going traveling in the next couple of years? You should ensure that you get travel insurance over 70 for your health coverage. Travel insurance for seniors is specially designed to meet the need of the demographic.

The first thing you should do when you want to get insurance is do your research online. By looking up different companies that offer travel insurance for people over 70, you can ensure that you save money. The most important thing you should look for when getting your insurance is to know the coverage, as well as if the cover accidents abroad.

Because people over 70 are more likely to get sick, have an accident or emergency happen to them, it is important that your insurance covers many different types of potential problems. Does the insurance cover medical insurances, repatriation just in case you need to be flown home or any other emergency procedures? Look for an insurance that provides good price to value ratio. This means that the price you pay for your insurance gives you the best coverage possible.

Another consideration you should take when getting old age travel insurance is to choose whether you will get a multi-trip or single trip insurance policy. If you think you will be traveling for more than once in a year then you would be better off financially to get the multi-trip coverage. This will allow you to come and go without having to worry about your insurance coverage.

Remember that the most important thing to do when you get travel insurance over 70 is to look around and find the best value. Go online and do your research for different companies that over different packages available. Make sure when you go traveling that you are always protected with insurance.

If you are preparing to travel abroad for a well-earned break and have picked Milan as your destination of choice, then the Milan Airport Guide may be able to take some of the stress out of the preparation process with its informative guide to car hire at Malpensa Airport. As a big airport, 7 out of the 11 Malpensa Airport Car Hire Companies are based within the Terminal 1 Arrivals Hall itself.

These are Autoeuropa, Avis, Hertz, SIXT, Targarent and Europcar, which is the only one to also have a check-in desk at Terminal 2, saving an extra slog if landing there. Those based on the outskirts of the airport, and accessible by free shuttle bus, are Budget, easyCar, Locauto Tirreno and Maggiore. All of the Malpensa Airport Car Rental Firms offer a wide selection of vehicles from compact cars through to minivans and in some cases, trucks. Most also provide for the high-end of the market with luxury cars, while some like Europcar and SIXT even go so far as to offer chauffeur driven prestige cars and limousines. Optional extras include child safety seats, luggage racks, snow chains, ski racks, GPS Navigation Systems, Bluetooth, MP3 compatible systems and in-car DVD players. It is advisable to ask for these when making the reservation. It is important to find out for sure what is and what is not included in the quoted price before setting out, as unexpected additions to the bill at check-in can come as an unwelcome start to a trip. Companies such as SIXT and Avis charge an additional fee of anywhere between 40 to 70 euros depending on the size of the car for fuel costs and although you are expected to return the car empty, this can sometimes be difficult to judge.

Also check whether the insurance is included in the price. Some offer full comprehensive in the quote but will then charge extra for window, tires and undercarriage protection. Others, such as Thrifty and Europcar, provide for third party only, which means unless you pay for their extra insurance, you could be liable for the access or/and medical fees if you have a crash. Alternatively, Maggiore and easyCar offer collision damage waiver in the price of the quote, while the latter also throws in unlimited mileage for good measure to. Although those providing Malpensa Airport Car Hire as a whole keep their fleets of cars well maintained and generally less than 8 months old, problems can occur.

If this happens, then having emergency roadside assistance is a blessing. Hertz provides this service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has a Rent-It-Here/Leave-It-There option, which means your drop off destination can be different from your pickup destination. Like Maggiore, is also offers very short rentals for as little as a few hours. Most of the Malpensa Airport Car Rental firms offer special offers in one way or another, and give priority booking and preferential rates to members. Hertz has teamed up with Ryanair and Jet2 to offer these passengers discounted prices. Do be prepared that to hire a car in Italy you must be 21 years or over and for many rental firms you may need to be older than this and still incur additional young driver surcharge. For the more prestigious cars the minimum age is often 25 or sometimes 30 years old. Remember when driving in Italy to keep your car hire documents and driving license in the car at all times, as it will save undue problems if you are pulled over. Apart from that relax and enjoy your holiday. For all the information on Bergamo Airport Car Rental in one helpful place or to get a quote, visit the Milan Airport Guide. Buone vacanze!

The World Cup in Germany this summer is se tot be not only the biggest sporting event of the decade but also the biggest tourist draw in Europe this year. Berlin will be the centrepiece for this celebration of the beautiful game hosting the final and, as capital of Germany, the main host for the festivities.

Although the influx of tourists is set to be huge, Berlin is well geared up for the opening of the tournament. As one of Europe’s most popular city break destinations and the host for major annual events such as the Love Parade, Berlin is well used to throwing a party. Accommodation however will be thin on the ground in Berlin and anyone looking for a late deal will be struggling to find anything within the parameters of Berlin itself but some of the major hotel booking resellers may have some late availability on the outskirts of the city or surrounding towns.

For true football fans getting around Germany during the World Cup might be a troublesome affair. Although Germany has one of the most efficient public transport systems in the world, it is also the largest country in Europe and with the 12 host cities spread throughout the land mass, the transport system is set to be bursting at the seams. Renting a car might be the best option for those looking to explore further than Berlin or to use the capital as a base for following their teams’ fortunes in the tournament. Most of the major car rental firms have a presence in the city and the road network in the city itself and throughout the host cities makes car hire in Berlin and for World cup 2006 a valid option.

Berlin has garnered a reputation as a cultural and party capital since reunification in 1990. A steady influx of short break tourists have ensured that the city has the facilities and tourist infrastructure that one would expect of a major European city and Berlin certainly does not disappoint. There are some interesting towns surrounding the capital and for those exploring the region by car the contrast between east and west although eroded over the last 16 years is still just visible.

The number of travelers in the 65-age bracket has increased tremendously. A large number of mature holidaymakers, mostly retirees, are heading overseas on foreign travel trips. Seeing other wonders of the world is exciting in itself, but that also involves making important considerations related to the trip. One such consideration is Travel Insurance.

Healthier lifestyles and medical advancement may urge you to think that you are the least to be affected by any sort of risk factors. Think again! You had saved your hard-earned money to enjoy the second lease of life to the fullest. Hence, buying a travel insurance policy is a wise idea. However, most travel insurance companies hesitate to offer insurance and marginalize senior citizens for the simple reason that senior citizens are more likely to make claims that are relatively expensive. Besides, they are charged higher premiums.

Comprehensive travel insurance policy specifically meant for elderly travelers between 71 to 85 years. Senior Citizen Travel Insurance Plan covers unexpected and unplanned medical expenses due to illnesses or accidents, including outpatient & inpatient medical expenses, medical aid, therapies and diagnostic test. Pay Per Day plan of travel insurance policies, is wherein you pay for the exact number of days traveled (and not the usual slab rate) i.e. if you travel for 24 days you’ll pay only for 24 days and not 25 days as in the slab system.

Some travel insurance providers in the market also cover people traveling with a pre-existing medical condition in case of life threatening situation. Besides, you can avail Senior Citizen Plan instantly with no medical check up with a claim benefit of $15,000 per illness or injury.

Furthermore, to ensure quality health care, some popular General Insurance company tied-up with United Health Group, the best, and the most diverse health care company in the US which serves more than 70 millions Americans. More than 86% of all acute care hospitals and huge number of physician and OPD facilities are in their network. What’s more, you can also avail the policy 24X7 from website to Buy Online facility which gives you instant digitally signed policy. It’s straight-forward and hassle-free.

So the next time you plan a foreign trip abroad buy Overseas Travel Insurance Senior Citizen Plan and make your old age jaunt a fulfilling and memorable experience.

Can you really have a Catholic destination wedding? Of course you can! You’ve probably been told, or assumed, that it couldn’t be done. That your Catholic wedding needs to take place in your home church. It just isn’t so.

Many non Catholics aren’t aware of everything that is involved in a Catholic wedding ceremony and, therefore, think all the preparations for a destination wedding are extensive. The fact is, there aren’t many more extras involved with a destination wedding. Most of what you do would have to be done with your home wedding as well.

There are many options available for a great Catholic destination wedding. You will still need to start with your home church and priest to get the ball rolling, though.

Begin about 1 year ahead of your planned date, if possible, just as you would with a traditional Catholic marriage. Start by speaking with your priest and letting him know what your plans are. He will start the paperwork necessary and arrange a date for the classes, such as an engaged encounter weekend or any other classes that your parish requires.

Next, contact the priest in the location you wish to marry. He will need the bride and groom’s names and the name of your priest. Once your priest has established that you can marry, he should contact the priest in the church that you wish to marry in.

At least 3 months before your wedding date, your priest should make sure all of the official paperwork is in to your local diocese, which will then mail authentic documents to the office of canonical affairs where you wish to marry.

All of your plans for music, choice of readings and other details for the ceremony need to be completed with the priest where you will marry.

Be sure to check into the marriage laws where you want to marry. Some states or countries will allow you to mail away for your license and some require you to actually be there. Be sure to check into this early. Some places are very easy to get a license in while others may have a list of requirements for you to meet.

If you decide to have a Catholic destination wedding, you will definitely have wonderful memories for you and your guests. You’ll find, even though there are many things to do, you would need to do most of them for a home wedding anyway. If this is something you’re thinking and dreaming of, go ahead and check into your favorite location.
